Message from the Manager
Eating shellfish from the waters of St. Joseph Bay is not recommended
due to the possible presence of a marine algae. This may also
have contributed to the recent die-off of more than 50 Bottle-nosed
dolphin in early and mid-March. Marine Fisheries is still searching
for the source of the toxic marine algae but have not ruled out
its presence in the waters of St. Joseph Bay. Robson & Associates
removed and will be replacing the north bathhouse in Gulf Breeze
camp area. The beach access from this camp area is also under
repair and campers may use the 1300' Barrier Dunes trail to access
the beach. Repairs are likely to extend into July
