The Preserve contains over 5,000 acres and stretches more than
10 miles from Ft. Pierce to Jensen Beach. It encompasses parts
of the Atlantic Coastal Ridge, savanna-like wetlands and pine
flatwoods. The preserve is the largest freshwater marsh system
along the southeast coast of Florida.
Hours of Operation
Florida state parks are open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days
a year.
Driving Directions
The Environmental Education Center is is located approximately
2 miles east of US 1 on Walton Road in Port St. Lucie.
