Madira Bickel Mound is an interesting location to visit as this
Archeological Site represents three periods of early culture.
An ancient Native American Ceremonial Mound is one of many sites
included in and interpreted by the Trail of the Lost Tribes.
Florida law prohibits digging for or collecting artifacts on
state-owned land. To preserve scenic beauty and ecology, fences
and warning signs have not been installed in some park areas.
Caution and close supervision of children is required while visiting
these areas.
Please visit all of the parks in the Manatee River Basin area.
It’s an experience I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
