Message from the Manager
We have just completed installing electric service to the last
of our campsites that were without, so power is available throughout
both campgrounds now. Just in time for the shorter, cooler days
of the camping season! This is the ideal time of year to come
out and enjoy “The Real Florida”, so be sure and take advantage
of it. Winter wildlife visitors such as warblers and bald eagles
will be joining the snowbirds. Seasonal flowers blooming now include
blazing star and goldenrod, as the cypress trees drop their needles.
Come and see the seasons change!
Close to 11,500 acres of land and river await the visitor to
Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Teeming with wildlife, the park
offers camping, canoeing, hiking and bicycling, picnicking, fresh
and saltwater fishing and guided tours of the Loxahatchee River.
Hours of Operation
Florida state parks are open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days
a year.
Driving Directions
Jonathan Dickinson State Park is located 12 miles south of Stuart
