Econfina River is located on the Gulf of Mexico and consists of 3,377 acres of greatly varied landscapes. The park has pine flatlands, to oak/palm forests, broad expanses of salt marsh dotted with pine islands. This park offers spectacular vistas and scenic beauty.

Florida state parks are open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year.

Econfina River is located in Taylor County at the end of County Road 14, south of U.S. 98.

Park Fees

There are currently no fees associated with admission into the park.

THE BOAT RAMP FEE IS $4.00 PER LAUNCH, OR DISPLAY OF A CURRENT FPS ANNUAL PERMIT. There is no charge for hiking, off-road bicycling and horseback riding. Equestrians must contact the park office in advance to arrange entry to the gated horse trails. For further information about this park, please call (850) 922-6007.
