Message from the Manager
Birth Announcement!!! The Eagle Family of Don Pedro Island State
Park would like to take this opportunity to announce the hatching
of their two beautiful eaglets. If you are lucky, you will be
able to view these two special little ones peeking out of their
nest. Mom and Dad are never far away, so keep your eyes open for
a glimpse of the proud parents as well. We would like to caution
you that disturbing nesting eagles is against Federal Law, as
is possessing eagle feathers or other eagle remnants.
Don Pedro Island State Park Landbase celebrated its Ribbon Cutting
Ceremony on Friday, February 13th. The park is located on CR 775
approximately seven miles south of CR 776. Stop by and enjoy the
beauty and peacefulness of this 90-acre treasure. The park offers
picnicking and nature trails… so come on by and take a Walk on
the Wild Side!
As always, we would like to thank you for visiting our park and
enjoying The Real Florida.
